Zion Williamson’s NBA debut has been anticipated as he sat out for the first 3 months of the season with a torn meniscus, and on Wednesday he finally made his appearance on the court with the New Orleans Pelicans.
Williamson started slow as he scored two points in the first half but when the fourth-quarter came around he dropped 17 points in just 3 minutes, 29 seconds. He finished his debut with 22 points which are the most by a Pelicans player in his debut in franchise history. Anthony Davis held the previous record with 21 point, per ESPN.
