The Yankees are looking to add some pitching help before the trade deadline. The team has already been linked to Blue Jays ace Marcus Stroman, and now the Bronx bombers appear to be sniffing around the Mets’ Noah Syndergaard.
Per the New York Post, the Yankees sent a scout to Miami over the weekend to check out Syndergaard’s start in person.
While Synergaard has put up disappointing numbers this season, he was brilliant on Saturady, striking out nine and giving up just two earned runs in seven innings.
Should the Mets deal Syndergaard? Where will Stroman end up? Will we see a lot of moves before the deadline?
