Yankees Man-Handle Rays

It was a wild one in the Bronx as Aaron Hicks’ first home run of the year kicked off 10 unanswered runs for the Yankees as they beat the Rays 13-5. The Yankees erupted for 7 runs in the 6th inning with a barrage of walks and key hits to blow the game wide open. New York has played good baseball the past month with a 20-7 record since April 19th. So far, the best record in the big leagues across that span while key players have landed on the injured list. Ironically, there have been 17 Yankees on the Injured List this season. Many new faces for the Yankees have stepped up and are holding down the fort until the big guns come back.
