Will Aaron Judge Be Healthy To Play?

As the Yankees get ready for the season in just eight days, there are some key players not 100% as Aaron Judge is still dealing with the rib injury that’s been nagging him. Aaron Judge had missed four Intra-Squad games over the last few days dealing with a stiff neck which had some New York Yankees fans a little concerned. Well, no need to fear as Judge took the field in the team’s latest Intra-Squad game and he looked fine in his first at-bat on Wednesday. Judge homered to Monument Park after the second pitch he saw from pitcher James Paxton.

Luckily, Judge looks fine heading into 2020, and some are saying the 28-year-old is coming off a disappointing season. Yes, he only played in 102 games with a batting average of .272 adding 27 home runs and 55 RBI, but for the second straight season he missed 50 or more games. In 2019, it was an oblique strain while a wrist injury kept him out in 2018.
