We Made It! Football Returns Tonight

A month ago, we honestly didn’t know if there would be an NFL season, but tonight it’s go time.

The defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs kick off the season against the Houston Texans.

Most NFL stadiums won’t have any fans in the stands this season, but KC is allowing about 17,000 fans in Arrowhead Stadium tonight.

You’ll also notice the league gave players permission to wear social justice decals on their helmets and there will be special messages stenciled in the end zones: One will say “It Takes All Of Us” and the other “End Racism.”

On top of that, the Miami Hurricanes play their home opener tonight against UAB. And yes, there will be about 15,000 fans on hand at Hard Rock Stadium when the Canes kickoff at 8 pm.

We’ll have to wait until Sunday though to see the Dolphins start their season when they face off against the new look Patriots inside an empty Gillette Stadium.

How do you think the season will end up for the home teams? What’s your prediction for the Super Bowl?
