President Trump and his allies continue to contest the results of last month’s election. At a hearing in Atlanta yesterday, Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani called on state lawmakers to overturn the results and simply choose their own electors. Giuliani argued that witnesses saw Fulton County workers illegally counting ballots. But, Georgia’s Secretary of State’s office said it had already investigated the claim and did not find anything. Besides, lawmakers said Georgia law does not allow them to select alternate electors for the electoral college.
