Trump, Biden Set to Campaign in Florida in the Coming Days

As election season heats up with just about a month to go, both President Trump and Former Vice President and Democratic candidate Joe Biden are making their way to the Sunshine State.

According to reports from the News Service of Florida, The Miami Herald and and Miami television station WFOR, the commander-in-chief plans to attend a rally this Friday evening at Orlando-Sanford International Airport.

Meanwhile, NBC News is reporting that Mr. Biden and his wife, Jill, plan to attend a town hall event in Miami on Monday.

That event, which will be hosted by “Nightly News” anchor Lester Holt, will take place at 8 p.m., with a small audience of undecided voters outside of the Perez Art Museum Miami.

The Biden campaign confirmed the trip on Wednesday afternoon.

Florida is considered a key battleground state, as both parties and candidates enjoy solid bases of support here while also trying to attract independent and undecided voters.

On a related note, the second presidential debate is scheduled to take place on October 15 at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami.
