Tom Brady hasn’t announced his intentions on whether he will return in 2023 but he did provide some clarity on the decision process.

Speaking on his “Let’s Go Podcast” Brady was asked about his plans for the 2023 season.

“Well, I think next time I decide to retire, that’s it for me, so whenever that day comes, we’ll figure it out,” Brady said.

“I think what I really realized last year was you got to be really sure to do that,” Brady continued. “For me, you know, a lot of people have kind of gone through this situation… I’m going to take my time whenever that time does come.”

Reports surfaced last year shortly after the Bucs were eliminated in the playoffs that Brady was retiring. Brady did announce his retirement a few days later on February 1 only to say he was coming back for a 23rd season 40 days later.

The Buccaneers (7-8) have a chance to clinch the NFC South on Sunday with a win over the Panthers (6-9).
