Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians is retiring.

Defensive coordinator Todd Bowles will take over the job for Arians.

The 69-year-old is taking on a front office role with the team effective immediately as senior consultant for football.

Arians has spent 47 years coaching football and became a head coach for the first time in his career in 2013 when he joined the Arizona Cardinals.

Arians led the Bucs to a Super Bowl victory two years ago with the help of QB stud Tom Brady who also retired for a hot minute at the end of last season.
