The Panthers are in a win or go home situation and the status of their best player in unknown.
Head Coach Paul Maurice told reporters he knows whether Tkachuk will play but wasn’t going to share the information.
Tkachuk didn’t practice Monday after playing only 16 minutes and 40 seconds in the Panthers’ Game 4 loss to the Golden Knights.
Tkachuk leads the Panthers in postseason goals (11) and points (24).
