The Rockefeller Christmas tree in New York is being called “sad” but it did feature a feathered ornament. A Saw-whet owl was discovered in the tree recently and is believed to have traveled with the Norway Spruce. The bird is alive but wildlife officials say the owl looked to have not eaten for three days. The good news is that the owl is recovering and was fittingly named “Rockefeller.”
