It’s only his first year with the Cowboys, but head coach Mike McCarthy is laying the groundwork for a big season.

He told the media on Tuesday, “If you’re not trying to win a Super Bowl, I don’t know what you’re even doing in this business.”

That’s a flip from the Jason Garrett era where he consistently reminded fans and reporters that the process for getting to the Super Bowl takes a while.

McCarthy has now made it clear, “We’re in this to win a championship. Make no bones about it.”

The Cowboys kick off the season against the L.A. Rams on September 13.
