Super Bowl LV: Brady vs. Mahomes

The stage is set.

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will square off with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV.

Tampa Bay is the first team ever to play a Super Bowl in their home stadium and for Tom Brady, this will be his 10th Super Bowl appearance.

For Patrick Mahomes, it’s a chance to win back-to-back titles, something no quarterback has done since – who else?? Brady, in 2003-2004 with the New England Patriots.

Super Bowl LV is February 7 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, where 22,500 fans will be allowed in attendance, which includes 7,500 vaccinated health care workers who will be receiving their tickets for free.

And speaking of tickets, prices are expected to be even more sky-high than normal.

Reports say four lower-level 50-yard line seats sold for $160,000 overnight.

Two seats, 8 rows up from the Chiefs bench: $70,000 for the pair.

The best seats available on Ticketmaster as of late Sunday night: $26,000 for one ticket (plus fees).

Given the historic qualities and storylines of this match up, would you even consider paying anything close to that to say that you were there?
