Gerrit Cole is the hottest name on the MLB free agent market, and a couple of Yankees want to see him in pinstripes.

Longtime Yankee C.C. Sabathia, who announced his retirement last month, has reportedly talked to Cole “at length, many times” about pitching in New York.

Meanwhile, Giancarlo Stanton went one step further when he told TMZ Sports that the Yankees should sign both Cole AND Stephen Strasburg.

After the World Series, Cole dropped some big hints that he’d be leaving Houston, although many believe he would prefer to sign with a West Coast team.

Where do you think Cole will end up? Could the Yankees afford both Cole and Strasburg?
