South Florida under a Flood Watch

Heavy rain will continue to douse South Florida all day. The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch until 8:00 tonight for parts of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Up to six inches of rain is possible so expect local street flooding.

A tropical wave of clouds and moisture with heavy rain will move across the area Wednesday with a rain chance of 80 percent.

The rainfall will be locally heavy at times and continue through Thursday with rain chances at 60 percent.

Finally drier air moving in for Friday with mostly sunny skies and rain chances down to 30 percent.
Meanwhile Hurricane Epsilon is still spinning out in the central Atlantic near Bermuda and is not expected to impact Florida.
