Snyder’s Reach Deal To Sell Washington Commanders For $6 Billion

The sale of the Washington Commanders NFL franchise is nearly a done deal, according to reports.
Owners Dan and Tanya Snyder have reportedly reached a deal to sell the team for $6 billion, to an ownership group led by billionaire Josh Harris.
Harris also owns the Philadelphia 76ers, the New Jersey Devils, and the Premier League’s Crystal Palace FC.
Magic Johnson is also an investor in the Harris group.
$6 billion is the most money ever paid for a professional sports team, surpassing the $4.65 billion paid for the Denver Broncos last year.
The deal is not yet finalized and likely won’t be until sometime next month.
