Former NFL star Vontae Davis was arrested and charged with DUI over the weekend.
Davis was arrested Saturday morning in Broward County, Florida, after allegedly crashing his car into a disabled vehicle on the side of the road, hitting one person.
Davis was found by police “lying down sleeping on the shoulder of the road” and when asked why told officers he was “tired”, according to reporter Andy Slater.
He also told police he’d had two mixed drinks and refused a sobriety test.
Davis was a Pro Bowl cornerback who played in the NFL from 2009 until 2018, when he infamously retired during halftime of the Bills’ season opener.
