Apparently, the Saudi Arabian government is really proud of its soccer team’s 2-1 victory over Argentina in the World Cup.
The country has declared a national holiday for Wednesday to celebrate the underdog team’s win. All schools, public offices and businesses will be closed for the entire day, according to Saudi government officials.
Saudi Arabia’s national team, which went into the World Cup with a ranking of 51, delivered a performance worth celebrating when it upset the number two-ranked Argentina.
