With the coronavirus crisis causing a financial strain on many communities across the US, Deonte Harris wants to make sure people don’t go hungry.

The Saints star has stepped up to provide over 10,000 meals to food banks in New Orleans and his hometown of Baltimore.

According to Jeff Asher of Crimealytics, The Big Easy has more than one-third of all COVID-19 cases in Louisiana, while the Maryland Department of Health says there are 129 in Charm City.

Earlier this week, teammate Drew Brees and his wife Brittany pledged $5 million towards 10,000 meals per day to state residents and families affected by the coronavirus.
