It was a nail-biter until the last play of the game where Cam Newton was stopped at the goal line, but the Seattle Seahawks held on to beat the New England Patriots 35-30 in Sunday Night Football.
Wilson tied a career high with five touchdown passes. He is only the fourth player in NFL history to throw at least four touchdown passes in each of his team’s first two games.
The others are Patrick Mahomes (2018), Ryan Fitzpatrick (2018), and Drew Bledsoe (1997).
After the win, Wilson said he’s definitely feeling good. “Locked in. Focused. Dialed in. My teammates are, too.”
We’re only a couple of games in, but is Wilson headed for an MVP season?
