Roman Reigns was set to take on Goldberg for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36. But he’s pulled out of the match.

Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin got the scoop, reporting that Reigns no longer felt comfortable stepping into the ring next weekend, citing health concerns.

Reigns is currently in remission from leukemia and would be considered especially vulnerable to coronavirus.

According to Satin, “WWE honored his request and he will now be replaced by someone else in the match against Goldberg, though it’s unclear who at this time.”
