Rob Gronkowski Wins WWE 24/7 Championship

Perhaps Rob Gronkowski can place his newly awarded title belt on the shelf next to his Super Bowl rings.

The retired Patriots tight end was crowned the WWE 24/7 champion on Sunday night at Wrestlemania 36, after putting down his hosting duties mic and jumping into the ring.

Other non-wrestling sports stars to have earned the belt in the past include NASCAR driver Kyle Busch and NBA center Enes Kanter.

Gronk has been everywhere these days since leaving the NFL behind, appearing on Fox’s The Masked Singer last week and serving as the co-Grand Marshall at Sunday’s iRacing event.

Now that Gronk is officially part of the WWE and holds a title, do you think we will be seeing more of him in the ring?
