According to multiple media outlets, the Ivy League is on the verge of announcing that it is canceling all fall sports this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
CBS Sports reports that an official announcement will be made sometime Wednesday evening.
Sports Illustrated also reports that it is unclear when or if fall sports will return.
Sources: Ivy League programs have been informed that fall sports have been cancelled.
The conference will not entertain any sports being played until after January 1st.

Meanwhile, the conference is hoping to move fall sports to the spring, says The Athletic’s Dana O’Neil.
Some sort of a plan is definitely needed, as CBS Sports says the conference brings in $400,000 to $500,000 annually in guarantees from its non-conference games.
