Looks like the Washington Nationals got a heads-up about the Astros’ sign-stealing habit ahead of the 2019 World Series.

According to the Washington Post, former Red Sox manager Alex Cora warned Nats manager Dave Martinez about the scheme – while some Nats players got warnings from Dodgers and ex-Astros.

Cora’s warning is ironic, since he was named as one of the masterminds behind the scheme when he was the Astros’ bench coach in 2017 – and is being investigated for more cheating with the Red Sox in 2018.
