Is Deshaun Watson angling for a ticket out of Houston?
According to Pro Football Talk, the star quarterback has “quietly broached with teammates the possibility of requesting a trade.”
Guess it wasn’t that quiet though since it is being reported on…
Regardless, the Texans had a rough season, firing head coach and GM Bill O’Brien and finishing the year with a 4-12 record, despite Watson leading the NFL in passing yards.
J.J. Watt was even spotted telling Watson “I’m sorry we wasted one of your years.”
Do you think there’s any truth to this rumor? If so, how can the Texans convince Watson to stay?
Could we see a Watson-for-Carson-Wentz trade with the Eagles?
