Ravens QB, Former Boynton High Star Lamar Jackson Wins NFL MVP

Former Boynton Beach High School star and Baltimore Ravens Quarterback Lamar Jackson was unanimously voted the Associated Press’s NFL Most Valuable Player on Saturday night.

Jackson, who is in his second year with the Ravens, joins Tom Brady as the only players to receive every vote for the MVP honor.

The Baltimore All-Pro set an NFL record for yards rushing by a quarterback, with 1,206 on the season. He also led an offense that compiled more yards on the ground – 3,296 – than any other in NFL history.

The Ravens won their final 12 games of the regular season to finish at 14-2, best in the league.
