Las Vegas is looking for a new head coach after firing Josh McDaniels.
Owner Mark Davis announced the news yesterday and said general manager David Ziegler was also let go.
He explained, “After much thought about what the Raiders need to move forward, I have decided to part ways with Josh and Dave. I want to thank them both for their hard work and wish them and their families nothing but the best.”
Linebackers coach Antonio Pierce was put in the role of interim head coach.
Champ Kelly, currently in his second season as the team’s assistant GM, is the interim general manager.
