The Florida Panthers are on the brink of elimination and will look to avoid the sweep vs the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Lightning have outscored the Panthers 11-3 in the first three games of the series and will look to advance to the third round of the NHL playoffs for the third straight season.
After suffering a  5-1 loss in Game 3 of their second-round Stanley Cup Playoff series to the Tampa Bay Lightning at Amalie Arena on Sunday, the Panthers’ will draw forward Joe Thornton and Anton Lundell back into the lineup, per head coach Andrew Brunette.

Lundell has not played since Game 2 against the Lightning, when he played only 4:07 minutes. He has failed to score a point in his limited action.

This will be Thornton’s first action in his playoff career.

After winning the Presidents Cup and having high expectations, the Panthers will have to now complete a 4 game sweep, something that’s never been done in NHL history.
