Panthers add Goaltender depth with Lyon signing

The Panthers announced Wednesday night they’ve agreed  on a two-way contract with Goaltender Alex Lyon.

The 29-year-old led Carolina’s AHL affiliate the Chicago Wolves to the 2022 Calder Cup.

During the regular season, Lyon posted an 18-7-3 record, 2.16 goals against average and a .912 save percentage.

Lyon has appeared in NHL games with the Hurricanes and Flyers.
