As two people to continue to recover in a local hospital following the death of a t, officials continue to look for the person who shot them.
It all transpired Saturday afternoon at Broward County Transit’s main terminal, located at NW 1st Avenue in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
According to Police spokeswoman DeAnna Greenlaw, here’s what happened in the moments leading up to the shooting:
“At some point, there was some type of a disturbance between two individuals. During the same time, it was beginning to rain and people were running towards the terminal to get away from the rain.”
She went on to say, “At the same time, a bus was pulling up during the disturbance and people were getting off the bus. The suspect produced a firearm, then he turned the firearm to the person involved with the disturbance, and shot him multiple times.”
Two innocent bystanders were also shot during the chaos. They were taken to Broward Health with non-life-threatening injuries and were later released.
