NL Snaps All-Star Losing Streak With 3-2 Win

The National League snapped a nine-game losing streak in the All-Star Game.
The team took a 3-2 win over the American League last night. It was their first win since an 8-0 victory in 2012 in Kansas City.
AL manager Dusty Baker said, “There was a lot of pride out there and a lot of competitiveness out there. You could tell by the energy on both sides and the energy in the ballpark.”

Meanwhile, Colorado Rockies Veteran catcher Elias Díaz has been named Most Valuable Player of the 2023 Midsummer Classic.
It was Diaz’ first All-Star game and his first at-bat of the night when his two-run home run in the eighth inning turned a 2-1 deficit into a 3-2 victory for the NL.
He told reporters, “This means a lot to me, to my family. Being in the ASG for me is amazing.”
