FAU Stadium

FAU’s first-ever unanimous All-American football player found his NFL home over the weekend.

John Mackey Award winner and Owls Tight End Harrison Bryant was drafted by the Cleveland Browns during the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, 115th overall.

That makes him the 10th FAU player in history to be drafted into the league.

Bryant became the first tight end not from the Power Five to win the John Mackey Award last year, after compiling 65 receptions for just over 1,000 yards and seven touchdowns in his senior season.

He compiled 148 receptions for 2,137 yards and 16 touchdowns during a four-year playing career in Boca Raton.
