FOX SPORTS 640 will continue be the home of New York Yankees Baseball for the 2020 baseball season. We are happy to announce that we have come to an agreement with the New York Yankees for Fox Sports 640 to be the South Florida affiliate for the 2020 season. South Florida has been known and will be called the 6th Borough to all New York natives and Yankees fans. There is a saying many people say… “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” so with that being said, there is news that John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman are set to return for a 16th season together in the Yankees radio booth. No need to worry as Sterling will continue his flashy home run calls so you can check that off your list. Last season, the 81-year-old Sterling skipped the Yankees’ four-game series in Tampa just before the All-Star Game ending a streak of 5,060 straight Yankees games called.

The 2020 New York Yankees season will be the 118th season in New York City for the Yankees, and the 120th season overall for the franchise. The Yankees will play in Yankee Stadium in the city’s northern borough of The Bronx, and will be led by Aaron Boone on his third season as team manager and their biggest acquisition in Gerrit Cole.
