MLB is still planning to hold its ‘Field Of Dreams Game’ in August, with the season set to begin July 24th.

You may remember that there was a lot of fanfare with the announcement last Fall that this game would be taking place.

The original plan was to have the Yankees and White Sox face off on the Dyersville, Iowa field where the 1988 movie Field of Dreams was shot.

But the teams might be different – the Yankees and White Sox won’t face each other under the current 60-game schedule.

Instead, the Cubs or Cardinals would likely step in as the White Sox’ opponent.
