MLB Considers “Bubble-Type” Play Format


Major League Baseball might take a page out of the NBA and NHL playbooks and do a “bubble-type” format for the playoffs.

Coronavirus outbreaks on the St. Louis Cardinals and Miami Marlins have screwed up the shortened regular season already.

Sources say there have been “preliminary” talks about putting together a postseason bubble.

Possible spots on the list so far: Southern California, the Chicago-area, and New York.

Does MLB have any other choice to make it through the playoffs? Should they do it now instead of waiting?
