The DH is coming to the National League.
Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred announced on Thursday team owners agreed to have a universal DH league wide.
Manfred also announced Thursday a draft lottery will be added as an anti-tanking measure and teams will no longer get draft compensation for free agents who rejected a qualifying offer.
Despite the current lockout, the commissioner still believes the season will start on time.
