The Marlins are making moves prior to the trade deadline.

The team shipped outfielder Corey Dickerson and Pitcher Adam Cimber to the Blue Jays in exchange for infielder Joe Panik and a minor leaguer according to multiple reports.

The Marlins will also send cash to the Blue Jays to offset Dickerson’s remaining salary. Dickerson is in the final year of a two-year, $17.5 million contract.

The Marlins are expected to make more moves prior to the July 31st deadline as the team sits in the last place of the NL East and 8.5 games back from a playoff spot.
