Marlins Pitcher Strikes Out His Own Brother In MLB Debut

Marlins reliever Brian Moran didn’t show a lot of brotherly love in his MLB debut on Thursday.

Moran took the mound in the fourth inning and ended up facing his own brother, Pirates third baseman Colin Moran.

It was the first time in MLB history that a pitcher faced his brother in his debut game, and Brian made the most of it by striking out his sibling for his first career K.

It’s a big moment for Moran, who finally reached the majors this month at the age of 30, after more than ten years in the minors.
