Wellington resident and professional golfer Brooks Koepka announced Thursday that he is giving back to his community in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
Koepka, a graduate of Cardinal Newman High School, posted on his Instagram that he is donating $100,000 through his foundation to the Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin County’s COVID-19 Response Fund.

“The COVID-19 Response Fund will strategically deploy resources to community-based organizations that are working with communities disproportionately impacted by the coronavirus outbreak,” the Community Foundation says on their website.
The Community Foundation’s website explains that they build a charitable endowment that meets the changing needs of the community.
