New York’s Aaron Judge was one of nine recipients of the 2019 Defensive Player of The Year awards on Monday night.

Even out of the game for two months with an injury Judge managed to save 19 defensive runs, tying Dodger Cody Bellinger for the most runs by a right-hander.

After the acknowledgement, Judge tweeted “Wow! Always been a dream of mine.

Can’t thank my coaches and team enough. The Yankees also congratulated Judge on social media with a highlight reel.

While impressive, Judge wasn’t the season’s Golden Glove winner for right-fielders.

That honor went the Red Sox’s Mookie Betts, earning him his fourth Golden Glove in MLB.

Who do you think were some other impressive defensive players of the latest MLB season?
