More information is coming out about the content of Las Vegas Raiders coach Jon Gruden’s emails.
The New York Times claims it has reviewed numerous emails from a seven-year period, which contain misogynistic and anti-gay language.

The Times says Gruden sent the emails between 2011 and 2018 and used the term “queers.”
He also reportedly complained about the emergence of women as referees.

Gruden released a statement Monday night saying, “I have resigned as Head Coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. I love the Raiders and do not want to be a distraction. Thank you to all the players, coaches, staff, and fans of Raider Nation. I’m sorry, I never meant to hurt anyone.”

Gruden was five games into the fourth season of a ten-year contract with the franchise.
The Raiders have tapped assistant head coach Rich Bisaccia as interim coach.
