The rumors of the Miami Heat’s demise have been greatly exaggerated.
Jimmy Butler put on an historic performance last night with a 40 point triple double that led Miami to a 115-104 game 3 victory.
The win keeps the Heat alive and gives them the opportunity to tie the series Tuesday night at 9 when game 4 takes place.
No word yet on whether Bam or Dragic will be able to play in that game, but Jimmy has definitely taken it upon himself to drive this team forward in the meantime.
It certainly was one of the best Finals performances of all time. Right up there with Dwyane Wade’s game 3 performance from 2006 when the Heat were down 0-2 to the Mavericks.
And we all know how that series ended…
