Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is nursing an ankle injury after the team’s 34-31 overtime loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Initial tests showed that Lawrence sprained the ankle and is scheduled to undergo additional testing today.

C.J. Beathard took over for Lawrence with 2:28 remaining in the fourth quarter.
He completed 9 of 10 passes for 63 yards and led a Jaguars drive that culminated in a game tying field goal to force overtime.
Lawrence was one of five Jaguars players to exit Monday night’s game with an injury.

On the other end, the Bengals back up QB played like a starter to help lead the Bengals to the upset win. Jake Browning threw for 354 yards and was responsible for two touchdowns.

Also, a by product of the Jaguars loss means that the Miami Dolphins now hold the number 1 overall seed in the AFC with a record 0f 9-3. It’s the first time that the Dolphins hold the number one seed in December in over 30 years! Fins fans are hoping that things continue to fall into place as the season goes into the 4th quarter. And Jags fans are hoping that Lawrence can come back from his injury sooner than later.
