A volunteer at the Tampa Big Cat Rescue Ranch in Tampa owned by Carole Baskin from the Netflix series “Tiger King” is recovering after a tiger nearly ripped her arm off while she was feeding it. She noticed too late that the cat was in the wrong cage and suffered serious, but non life-threatening injuries.

The incident came the same day that the House of Representatives voted to ban the private ownership of big cats such as lions and tigers.
The bill’s sponsor, Illinois Democratic Congressman Mike Quigley…
The Big Cat Public Safety Act was passed yesterday on a 272-114 vote. It allows existing facilities to keep their animals. The bill faces an uncertain future in the GOP-controlled Senate. The U.S. House of Representatives is set to vote today on a bill that would legalize marijuana at the federal level….then once they are through with pot and big cats, they might consider a COVID relief package for Americans.
