(Perdido Key, FL) — A Florida woman picking up trash on the beach, discovered what she thought was a headless human body.
The woman was volunteering for a beach clean-up nonprofit when she found the human-like figure lying on the sand in Perdido Key.
But, turns out, upon closer CSI examination, it was a barnacle-encrusted mannequin without a head.
The condition of the dead dummy indicates it had been in the water for a long period of time.
The nonprofit said on Facebook they were relieved it wasn’t a real body.
