Golfing legend Tiger Woods was injured in a single vehicle accident near Ranchos Palos Verdes south of Los Angeles just before 7:15 pacific time Tuesday.
L.A. County rescuers needed to use the jaws of life to extract Woods from the overturned SUV.
Woods was transported to an area hospital in serious condition. A statement issued by his agent Mark Steinberg reads:
“Tiger Woods was in a single-car accident this morning in California where he suffered multiple leg injuries. He is currently in surgery and we thank you for your privacy and support.”
