Ex-NBA star Stephan Jackson says Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson was “speaking the truth” in a series of controversial Instagram posts last weekend.

DeSean Jackson issued two public apologies on Tuesday for the posts that featured anti-Semitic quotes accusing Jews of trying to “blackmail America.”

One was attributed to Nazi party leader Adolf Hitler.

Stephan Jackson (not related to DeSean Jackson) said, “He’s speaking the truth. You know he don’t hate nobody, but he’s speaking the truth of facts he knows, and trying to educate others.”

The NFL released a statement about the social media posts that said in part, “DeSean’s comments were highly inappropriate, offensive and divisive.”
