The Angels are calling up the former FAU slugger just six weeks after they selected him 11th overall in the MLB Draft.

The Lake Worth Native was slashing .370/.510/.493 in 21 minor league games across three different levels since being drafted.
In 59 games with FAU this season, Schanuel hit 19 homeruns with 64 RBI with an OPS of 1.483.
