A Florida woman has a lot more to be grateful for this Thanksgiving after winning $1 million in The FASTEST ROAD TO $1,000,000 Scratch-Off  lottery.

According to the report, 61-year-old Pamela Lavigne went to the Winn-Dixie on 1812 South Highway 77 in Lynn Haven to pick up dinner for her family, when she also decided to pick up a scratch-off ticket.

Lavigne says once she got to her car, she immediately scratched the ticket and found out she won $1,000,000.

The Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee reported that Lavigne has decided to receive her winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment of $790,000.

The retailer where Lavigne purchased the ticket will also receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off.
