Florida Senator Rick Scott: “I Have COVID”

Florida Senator Rick Scott tweeted that he has tested positive for coronavirus on Friday.
The former governor said he was feeling good but is experiencing mild symptoms.

“After several negative tests, I learned I was positive for COVID-19 this AM. I’m feeling good & experiencing very mild symptoms. I’ll be working from home until it’s safe for me to return to DC. I remind everyone to be careful & do the right things to protect yourselves & others.”
Scott tweeted he would be staying home in Naples until it was safe for him to return to Congress.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell sent senators home Wednesday for Thanksgiving break one day early,  in part because of the continued unchecked spread of Covid-19 among his members.
